AgeWatch

Applies to the AgeWatch mobile application · Last updated 15 October 2026

IN SHORT

The app makes no network connections. The analysis runs entirely on your phone, and the image is never sent anywhere. We do not train our models on your images. The app has no account and keeps no history.

Controller

Dmytro Ignatov, contactable at ai@abrain.one.

Camera and photos

Age estimation needs access to your camera or to a photo you choose. Android asks your permission first, and you can revoke it at any time in your device settings. Captured images are written temporarily to your device so that they can be analysed.

Everything happens on your device

The model is bundled with the app and runs locally on your phone. The app does not connect to any server, including ours. Your images are not transmitted, and we do not receive them.

Age estimation

The analysis estimates apparent age from a non-uniquely identifying facial geometry extracted from the image. It creates no biometric template for identification, is not compared against any database, and cannot recognise or identify a person. The result is automated and approximate, is shown only to you, and is not recorded by us.

What we do not do

We do not use your images or results to train or improve our models. We do not sell or share personal data, and we do not use it for marketing. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting, stores no prediction history, and keeps no database of results.

If you email us

We process your email address and message in order to reply, because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We keep such correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with the matter and any follow-up.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of them, write to ai@abrain.one. Because the app collects nothing, this will usually concern correspondence only.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in the EU or EEA Member State of your residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.

Changes

We will update this policy when necessary to reflect changes in the app, in how we use personal data, or in applicable law. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this policy.
